Hello Bookmarkers,

Quality of Sites 

The current status of sites being accepted and sites in the rotation has been questioned and has caused me to review the current policy. 

A good example is SB 101 does not currently allow Opt In Pages. However there is only one site that has garnished members attention as a "Cool Site" this is "The Beer Site" this is an opt in page that was allowed in when SB 101 first opened the doors. 

This opt in page is done in good taste therefore it is welcome. 

Now let's take another example: We have affiliate pages that are allowed that scream spam and are little more than blatant advertisement. 

It seems clear to me that not allowing a well done site that is done in good taste because of what it is labeled and allowing other sites who do qualify and are low/no content and Spammy is not working. 

We have experimented and have found the threshold of the SB sites. 

All sites will be approved based on quality not category. 

The decision upon approval will rest with Brenda and myself. Period 

Every member who joined SB 101 did so to gain backlinks, increase search rankings, and raise PR. You have a commitment to bookmark your fellow member's website. 

The Group was founded on "It is in Giving That We Receive" 

SB 101 is Based on Principals not Personalities/Personal Taste.
If the quality of sites does not meet your personal standards that is a personal issue not a Social Bookmarking 101 issue.

Canned Content Sites … if you can not put in the effort to write some content your site will not be approved.

Review Sites of Affiliate Products  Low Content with High % of Affiliate Graphics

Sites with excessive Buy it Now Buttons

Do not expect to see any major changes fast. Implementation of quality will begin with all new sites and be relevant to all new url changes by current members
